Joining another website including writers and photographers has gotten old fast. Many of them snobbish and the others-trite and using "impropriety as the soul of wit." Quite different from Gather.
Not fretting in that the site does not pay much in the way of points or gifts.
Followers asking your following and not returning in just.
The poetry dark yet not in a way that enhances the reader's enjoyment or appreciation. Weaving insanity bad sinews eating popcorn songs of the worms blushing animals and lots of squirrels. One poet talks of his wife and that is usually uplifting. Ignoring the table seasonings added.
Weed through the short stories. "The lie" (Shirley Jackson) is the best short story I have ever read. It's a classic and not on this particular website. Original. Lots of description for a short story, yet keeps the reader involved with clever interaction between the characters.
They add some pop-culture wherein a lot of readers don't follow as much. Perhaps they do with the Walberg talking about the others and how many don't prepare for their scripts. Now that's good reading.
The political posts have interesting points of view.
Pompous? Hope not. Observation.
A tired reader and writer. Where is my sinew and camera.

On the other hand, Gather seems to already have made improvements, thanks to their new investor. Hope it keeps up.
