Discernment is a peppermint candy cane left out in the rain
Who’s to blame if you inspect your poles, north to south?
The linear parallels create movement between positive and negative
Giving us choices; even not to choose is a choice, mostly a mental decision
But there is another way of choosing and that is with the feelings of the heart
There is a wishbone in my eye and I must first get it out
Give thanks, break bread and know all will be well done
As turkeys on the table are just symbols, crashing from the past
But the communion of sweet tater pie and conversational friends
May be a blend to cherish and remember ‘til next November
There is another colloidal experiment and that is surreal writing
This world programs us to use our brains according to educated rational
We are fed theories and told to believe them but words are only symbols
And can be manipulated and slanted to influence various agendas
So we end up with broken trust receptors and questioning or doubting everything
The image of the Creator is spirit and science is finally seeing this in Quantum physics
Everything is made from these sub particles or life energy which we call mass
Even a rock, the soil, the beach is teeming with these tiny building blocks
We are all part of the whole universal life pattern and we are given choice
Some ties that bind must be unbound as thoughts can manifest prisons
Water will remember, mist, rain, rivers and oceans receive our thoughts
We are like raindrops, flowing in the river of life, here for a short time
Then evaporate into misty spirit, cleansed, then picked up by the eternal wind
To return as rain or to meld with the source, always the freedom of choice
For now we see through a glass darkly but the rain of our tears shall clear forever

The priest said if your heart and mind are out of sink it is time to move on.....
But there is another way of choosing and that is with the feelings of the heart
